QuickTime

What can I do with QuickTime?

QuickTime is a system extension that lets your computer play digitized video and audio files called "movies." You can see QuickTime movies in many of the software packages available on CD-ROM disc.

Thousands of sites on the World Wide Web feature QuickTime movies. You can view these movies if you have the QuickTime extension installed on your system and the QuickTime Plug-In, version 1.1 or higher, in the Plug-In folder of your Web browser.

You can also buy a variety of programs for creating and editing QuickTime movies.
